For thirty-six years, the Louisiana American Saddlebred Horse Association (LASHA) has been a successful horse club. LASHA is a charter club of the American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA). Our members strive to promote the American Saddlebred Horse breed. Our club hosts two to three horse shows per year and hosts an annual awards banquet.
LASHA offers Annual Year End High Point Awards for club members. Our club hosts a yearly banquet where we celebrate the Year End High Point Winners. Year End High Point Awards are given in many divisions.
The national club, ASHA, State Pleasure Horse Awards are also given out during our awards banquet.

The American Saddlebred Horse Association and American Saddlebred Registry, located at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, are at the heart of all activities involving American Saddlebreds.
The Association supports all of the activities that make Saddlebred ownership pleasurable and exciting, while working to stimulate and promote interest in the breed.
